CITY OF DELAVAN MARKETING & EVENTS COORDINATOR/ DEPUTY CLERK POSITION AVAILABLE 

The City of Delavan is seeking a detail-oriented and community-driven Marketing & Events Coordinator/ Deputy Clerk. This position plays a vital dual role in supporting the City Clerk with daily municipal operations while leading efforts to promote downtown vitality through marketing, business engagement, and community events. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the City Clerk, including assistance with elections, licensing, and permits. 

• Assist with maintaining accurate records and performing data entry for City operations.

• Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and committees to promote community events and initiatives.

• Conduct surveys and collect data to identify community needs and evaluate program effectiveness.

• Serve on committees, attend community meetings, and assist in identifying opportunities for new programs and services.


Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in public administration, business, marketing, communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Experience in general office practices, customer service, or municipal government preferred. 

• At least one (1) year of experience in community development, event coordination, marketing, or a related field is desirable. 


Salary & Benefits 

The salary for this position ranges from $56,554.80 to $59,734.31, depending on qualifications. The City offers a comprehensive benefits package including Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) health and life insurance, participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), long-term disability, and other employee benefits.
