Bring the Heat. Build the Community. — Chili Cookoff Think you make the best chili in town—or just love tasting great chili? Join Breathe, Inc., Ducks Unlimited, and The Niche Café & Wine Bar for a fun-filled evening of chili, friendly competition, raffles, prizes, and community camaraderie on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at The Niche Café & Wine Bar at the entrance of Geneva National. Local chili cooks are invited to bring a crockpot of their best recipe and compete for bragging rights, with awards for People’s Choice, Best Overall Chili, and Most Creative. Not a cook? Come hungry! Guests can sample the entries, cast their votes, enjoy Ducks Unlimited raffles and merchandise, and spend the evening connecting with friends and neighbors. Setup begins at 5:00 PM, with tasting and voting from 6:00–8:00 PM. More than a cookoff, this is an evening about bringing people together and making an impact. Come for the chili, stay for the fun, and help us strengthen the community we all call home. Great chili. Good people. Greater community. We can’t wait to see—and taste—what you’ve got!
