THANKSGIVING DAY FEAST

Celebrate the holiday with family and friends while enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving meal at Lake Lawn Resort's abundant Thanksgiving Feast Buffet. Reservations are highly recommended. The buffet is served from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in 1878 on the Lake, the Delavan Room, the Lake Lawn Room, and the Geneva Club, with final seating at 6:00 PM. Nino Cruzillini works the room with strolling and table-side magic from noon to 6:00 PM, including rounds at The Lookout and at the feast in 1878. THE BUFFET Greens and harvest salads - Lake Lawn Harvest Salad, Shaved Brussels Sprout and Cranberry Salad, and Roasted Beet, Citrus and Fennel Salad. Harvest yogurt and fruit bar - Greek and vanilla yogurt, seasonal berries and fresh fruit, wildflower honey, house-made granola, and seasonal fruit compote. Wisconsin artisan cheese and charcuterie - Wisconsin cheeses, artisanal salumi and cured meats, marinated and grilled vegetables, pickled vegetables, preserves, cranberry mustard, and freshly baked rolls. Chilled seafood and smoked fish display - Poached jumbo shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and Rushing Waters smoked trout and smoked salmon, around a holiday ice carving. Chef-attended carving station - Herb and peppercorn crusted prime rib of beef with red wine jus, and herb-roasted turkey with gravy and orange cranberry sauce. Chef's entrées - Sliced herb-roasted turkey, cranberry-maple glazed salmon, apple cider braised pork, and wild mushroom and brown butter gnocchi. Thanksgiving sides - Boursin whipped Yukon potatoes, haricots verts and wild mushroom gratin, apple and sage dressing, bourbon-maple whipped sweet potatoes, and balsamic roasted cipollini onions and carrots. Children's buffet - Crispy chicken tenders, Wisconsin cheddar macaroni and cheese, and seasoned waffle fries. Dessert collection - Warm apple-cranberry crisp, bourbon pecan tartlets, traditional pumpkin pie, triple chocolate mousse verrines, assorted cakes, Wisconsin cream puffs and petit eclairs, and holiday petit fours. Menu selections and accompaniments are subject to seasonal availability. Adults $70, children ages 8-12 $30, children ages 4-7 $16, and children age 3 and younger complimentary. Fountain soft drinks, coffee, tea, or juice are included. A 20% gratuity is automatically added to each bill. Reserve online or call 1878 on the Lake at 262.725.9155. A credit card is required to hold the reservation. No-shows and cancellations within 72 hours are charged $35 per person; cancellations more than 72 hours in advance are not charged. Parties of 11 or more are seated at multiple tables in the Lake Lawn Room or Geneva Club. Also open that day: Isle of Capri Café serves grab-and-go breakfast before the buffet and reopens for dining afterward, and The Lookout is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
