NEW YEAR'S EVE PRIX FIXE DINNER

Description

Ring in the New Year with an evening of exceptional dining at 1878 on the Lake. On Thursday, December 31, enjoy a special three-course prix fixe dinner created just for the occasion, with a bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial included with every table for a celebratory toast to the year ahead. Dinner is served from 4–9 PM, with the last seating at 9 PM. The evening begins with a chef’s gift, followed by your choice of one dish from each of three courses. First Course — Choose One Roasted Lobster Bisque: Sherry crema, pomegranate-tarragon pesto, and truffle crostini Iceberg Wedge Salad: Nueske’s bacon lardons, basil-marinated heirloom cherry tomatoes, Wisconsin Gorgonzola, fresh chives, and green goddess dressing Second Course — Choose One Petite Surf and Turf: 6 oz center-cut filet, 6 oz cold-water lobster tail, Boursin mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, charred Brussels sprouts, garlic butter, and blackberry demi-glace Filet Mignon: 10 oz filet mignon, Boursin mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, charred Brussels sprouts, and blackberry demi-glace Rosemary Half Chicken: Roasted bone-in half chicken, truffle-Parmesan fingerling potatoes, winter root vegetable purée, and sage velouté Seared Scallops: Sea scallops, smoked salmon roe, roasted corn and bacon orzo, and smoked tomato beurre blanc Spicy Vodka Rigatoni: Asparagus tips, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, lemon oil, Parmesan, Calabrian vodka cream, and fresh basil Dessert — Choose One Nutella Crème Brûlée: Nutella custard, cookie butter crumble, and macerated raspberries 1878 Mud Pie: Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlúa, Oreo cookie crust, and chocolate ganache Bourbon Pecan Sticky Toffee Pudding: Warm date cake, bourbon caramel, candied pecans, and vanilla bean gelato The regular dinner menu will not be available on New Year’s Eve. A regular children’s menu is available for guests 12 and under.
