The Janesville Gazette Printing and Distribution facility is seeking energetic and reliable team players to join our staff. Ideal candidates will have the ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline driven production environment.

Duties include setting up and operating packaging equipment, verifying accuracy of products being processed, responding to production problems during a run, and performing multiple other tasks in a newspaper distribution environment. This position provides line-level leadership for employees.

An ability to work independently and efficiently, an ability to work well with other team members, and reliability are all required. Qualified individuals will also have excellent communication skills, organization and problem solving skills.

Machine operator candidates will have a minimum of 2 years production experience of equipment set up and operations, computer and mechanical skill sets, possess leadership skills and have a valid driver’s license.

Day shift hours (5am-1pm), Afternoon shift hours (1pm - 9 pm), and Night shift hours (9pm - 5:00 am)
