Our Guest Speaker is Johnathan Shelton\, Senior Manager from Invenergy. He will share details about Foundry Ridge\, a new electric peaking plant proposed in Darien\, that's designed to help keep our region's energy reliable and affordable. He'll walk through where the project is located\, what a peaking plant is\, the construction timeline\, and even how local businesses can get involved with contract opportunities. Invenergy is sponsoring lunch to Chamber Members. For Non-members there will be a charge of $10. We would like to help support The River Church in their monthly campaign FEEDING FIFTHY. We will be collecting non-perishable food items\, winter hats and gloves. If you would like to donate to this campaign you will be entered in a drawing for a prize basket sponsored by Invenergy. We appreciate YOUR SUPPORT.
